Charlotte’s love of wild and home-grown flowers was the perfect match for our wedding, as we wanted the flowers to complement the relaxed, open feel of the day, especially as most of it was spent outside. We gave quite a loose brief, confident that whatever Charlotte came back with would be just right – and she definitely delivered. I’ll never forget seeing the wild arrangements she made for either side of the altar – they looked as if they had sprung up from the ground, creating a totally magical effect. Our bouquets and the decorative posies all looked fresh from the hedgerow and smelt incredible. We chose Verity and Thyme for our wedding to help us create the beautiful, rustic barn wedding we had been hoping for. What we hadn't anticipated was that Charlotte, the floral designer extraordinaire behind the business, would orchestrate a venue brimming with blossoms beyond our wildest dreams. From the start, we knew we wanted someone who honoured nature in her arrangements and Charlotte does just that: creating organic, whimsical, carefully crafted arrangements which play to the subtleties of every blossom and leaf. But more than her floral talents, Charlotte is an absolute dream to work with! She brought her enthusiasm and ideas to our first meeting, accommodated all of our wishes and changes along the way, worked to our budget brilliantly, and acted as a calming influence for us the morning of our wedding. Charlotte shared her deep knowledge of design and botany to help us dream up the most joyfully colourful, beautifully scented and sentimental bouquets and bud vases we could have ever hoped to have. She arranged an absolutely stunning arch of flowers and foliage under which we were wed and I know we will never forget that beautiful, colourful backdrop to our ceremony. We are so grateful to have had the fortune of getting Charlotte to curate our wedding flowers; I couldn't recommend a more talented or lovelier person to help create the wedding of your dreams.
